The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) invited participants to this webinar to describe the goals for the PCORI Request for Information (RFI) on the Patient Reported Outcomes Measurement Information System (PROMIS®). PROMIS® is a system of reliable and flexible measures of patient-reported health status that have been developed over the last decade with support from the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
During this webinar, PCORI discussed PROMIS® and its role in clinical research and clinical care. PCORI is seeking wide input on potential PROMIS® funding opportunities from a range of researchers, patients, clinicians, policymakers, health insurers, and others who may be affected by patient-reported outcomes measurement in research and clinical care.
