Healthcare Stakeholders Webinar Series: PCORI is hosting a series of three webinars focused on healthcare stakeholders. Each one examines health information needs, attitudes toward comparative effectiveness research (CER), and views on engaging in research as partners in designing, conducting, and disseminating research.

Information and presentation slides for Webinar 2, and links for Webinars 1 and 3, are below.

Webinar 2: Listening to Researchers

PCORI is committed to expanding the growing community of comparative effectiveness researchers (CER). During this webinar, PCORI Executive Director Joe V. Selby, MD, MPH, and members of the health research community discussed recent survey results and their implications for success as a CER researcher. PCORI surveyed over 500 U.S.-based clinical, health services, and health outcomes researchers on their attitudes and experiences with CER and their view of barriers to and facilitators of stakeholder engagement in CER. Results were shared and discussed and attendees heard findings that can help the research community enhance patient-centered research.
