Our Pilot Projects program supports the collection of preliminary data that can be used to advance the field of patient-centered outcomes research by studying methodologies that can be used to advance patient-centered outcomes research as well as identify gaps where methodological research needs further development. In April 2012, our Board of Governors approved a slate of 50 pilot projects that address a broad range of questions about methods for engaging patients in various aspects of the research and dissemination process.
