PCORI periodically makes a variety of external funding opportunities available throughout the course of its work, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or Requests for Information (RFI), which are awarded through a competitive process. Each RFP or RFI contains its own statement of work, requirements, and evaluation criteria.
Analytical and Operational Support for the Engagement of the Public and Patients
The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) is seeking contractors to enter into an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) to provide programmatic and analytic support for PCORI’s Engagement Department. Although staff throughout PCORI are committed to authentic involvement of patients and other stakeholders, our Engagement and Dissemination and Implementation programs focus specifically on such engagement. The program reaches out to patients and other stakeholders with events and workshops, trainings, funding opportunities, and an Ambassador program, as well as helping stakeholders participate in research topic generation and selection, review of research funding applications, and dissemination and implementation of research findings. We also guide researchers on ways to include patients and other stakeholders in their projects. As PCORI, its portfolio of research and research support awards, the science of engagement, and the engagement of our unique public and patient stakeholders evolve, the Institute requires a diverse group of vendors to provide support that will enhance our ability to achieve key goals.
