The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) held a special webinar on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, to brief stakeholders on PCORI's draft Methodology Report and encourage public comment. The draft report, released July 23, 2012, offers standards to guide health care stakeholders towards the best and most appropriate methods for conducting patient-centered outcomes research.

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) held a special webinar on Friday, August 3, 2012, from 1:00 p.m.− 2:00 p.m. ET, to brief stakeholders on PCORI's draft Methodology Report and encourage public comment. The draft report, released July 23, 2012, offers standards to guide health care stakeholders towards the best and most appropriate methods for conducting patient-centered outcomes research.

The PCORI Board of Governors held a public teleconference and webinar, June 19, to consider and vote on a conflict of interest policy. The policy is aimed at setting clear standards for avoiding real or perceived bias in research funding decisions, and upholding PCORI's commitment to transparency and integrity.

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) Board of Governors held a special open teleconference and webinar on Wednesday, April 25, 2012. The Board discussed and voted on PCORI's revised National Priorities for Research and Research Agenda as well as reviewed proposed Pilot Project funding awards. PCORI sponsored a webcast to unveil the April 18 issue of the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA). The issue focuses on comparative effectiveness research and features two articles authored by PCORI.
