Deborah Mullen is a Health Services Researcher at Park Nicollet Institute and a Visiting Professor of Health Administration at The University of St. Francis College of Business and Health Administration. She is a methodologist by training with expertise in survey development and mixed methods. Dr. Mullen has over 15 years of experience in health informatics, quality improvement, and community participatory outcomes research. Her research is focused on the patient voice (preference and utility) in healthcare systems redesign. Her quality improvement work focuses on work redesign to save staff time while improving clinical care. She received a BS from Western Carolina University and an MS and PhD in health policy and management from the University of Minnesota School of Public Health.
