Dianne Johnson is a patient partner with a PCORI-funded project in surveillance imaging for patients with a personal history of breast cancer. As a former Associate in Ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of America, Johnson brings knowledge of community building, listening to others, and choosing to accompany others as they discover ways to overcome adversity.
Her strengths of strategic planning, connecting people, and communication have been an asset to the PCORI-funded research team. Johnson has found the experience of being involved with a research project fascinating, challenging, and fulfilling to know that the work that is accomplished may soon benefit others as they face a diagnosis of cancer.
