Karen Chesbrough leads the scientific program initiatives at the Foundation for Physical Therapy, a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of physical therapist scientists and to the advancement of evidence-based practice within rehabilitation medicine. She previously worked as a Research Assistant and a Research Associate focusing on population health studies at the Naval Health Research Center, San Diego, California and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences, Bethesda, Maryland. She holds a BA from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (Virginia Tech) and an MPH from the University of Hawai’i at Manoa.
Chesbrough served as a member of the Advisory Panel on Assessment of Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment Options from April 2013 - April 2016.
