Laura Kolaczkowski is the Lead Patient Representative and Co-Principal Investigator for the the iConquerMS™ Patient-Powered Research Network (PPRN). In addition to her research interests she writes articles for MultipleSclerosis.net, Multiple Sclerosis News Today, and her personal blog, Inside MyStory, Kolaczkowski views her role as both a patient advocate working to empower people to take command of their health care, and a patient activist spending time on health care reform issues. Her writing comes from her own interests and experiences in research as well as living with multiple sclerosis.

Kolaczkowski is also a member of PCORI's Ambassador Program. She is a graduate of the University of Dayton (OHIO) with a BA in Communication Management.
