Nancy White, DPT, is Executive Director of the Arlington Free Clinic, a nonprofit organization that provides free, high-quality health care to low income, uninsured adults through the generosity of volunteers and donors. In this role, she leads a multi-disciplinary medical home for a population of 1800 ethnically diverse and mostly low-literacy individuals struggling with chronic health conditions and social factors that impact their health. Throughout her career, Dr. White has been committed to the importance of research and integration of best evidence into practice through leadership in raising money for and funding research in physical therapy. As a practicing physical therapist for over 35 years, she is committed to determining the best treatment approaches for patients through examination of best evidence, appreciation for patient preferences, and recognition of the importance of provider experience and expertise. Dr. White received a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Marymount University, a Master of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama Birmingham, and a Bachelor of Science from Auburn University.

White previously served as a member of the Advisory Panel on Assessment of Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment Options and the Advisory Panel on Clinical Effectiveness and Decision Science from August 2016 to August 2019.
