Priscilla Huang is the Policy Director for the Asian & Pacific Islander American Health Forum, a national health justice organization which influences policy, mobilizes communities, and strengthens programs and organizations to improve the health of Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders. In this position, she directs APIAHF's policy work on expanding access to health care and coverage, improving the quality of care, increasing data and research on Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander health, and increasing investments in community-driven health strategies. Her work has appeared in the Harvard Law and Policy Review and AAPI Nexus, and she has been recognized for her leadership by Families USA, the Congressional Black Caucus Health Braintrust, and Choice USA. She holds a JD from The American University, where she was one of ten Public Interest/Public Service Scholars, and she was recognized in 2010 as Distinguished Alumni by the Asian Pacific American Bar Association. She is also a recipient of a Georgetown Women’s Law and Public Policy Fellowship, a Women’s Law Association Fellowship, an Equal Justice Foundation Fellowship.
Huang served as a member of the Advisory Panel on Improving Healthcare Systems from April 2013 - April 2014.
