Rachel Witsaman, MPH, PMP, is a Program Officer who supports the Evaluation and Analysis team at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
Before coming to PCORI, Witsaman was senior policy analyst at the Altarum Institute, where she managed large-scale survey projects that evaluated patient satisfaction and provider performance, as well as Wounded Warrior care, for the Army Medical Command and the Department of Defense TRICARE Management Activity. Prior to Altarum, Witsaman was an analyst at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, where she worked on child passenger safety programs and was a research associate with the Center for Injury Research and Policy at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, for which she authored peer-reviewed journal articles on consumer product related injuries. In addition to a background in survey methodology, Witsaman brings expertise in operations management, data analysis, project management, and patient satisfaction research.
Witsaman has a BS in zoology and women’s studies from Ohio Wesleyan University and a MPH from Ohio State University, with a concentration in epidemiology. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute.
