Regina Dehen is the Chief Medical Officer at National University of Naturopathic Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon. As a clinician, researcher, and medical educator with 20 years of experience, she has worked to improve clinical outcomes by enhancing research education and literacy for practitioners and students of complementary and alternative medicine. Her interest in researching the effectiveness of complementary and integrative medicine led her to pursue a Master’s in Clinical Research at Oregon Health and Science University, where she participated in the Patient-Centered Comparative Effectiveness Research Intensive. She received a BA in Biology from Reed College, an ND in naturopathic medicine from NUNM, and a Masters in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Oregon College of Oriental Medicine.

Dehen served as a member of the Advisory Panel on Assessment of Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment Options from Spring 2013 - Spring 2017.
