Surair Bashir is a Program Associate for the Clinical Effectiveness and Decision Science program at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI).
Bashir has experience working on both clinical- and community-based participatory research studies, focusing on integrative medicine approaches to colorectal cancer and post-treatment cancer fatigue, and a screening study for pre-diabetes and type 2 diabetes in children. She has also worked with the Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholars Program and the University of Michigan Medical School on refugee health research.
Previously, she interned with the Department of Health and Human Services, working in the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Preparedness and Response providing programmatic support.
