PCORI Funding Awards

PCORI Funding Announcements (PFAs) solicit applications for proposals for patient-centered comparative clinical effectiveness research (CER) based on our National Priorities for Research and Research Agenda. Each priority represents a line of inquiry that addresses unmet needs of patients, caregivers, clinicians and other healthcare system stakeholders in making personalized healthcare decisions across a wide range of conditions and treatments.

Applications are evaluated based on a set of criteria that include scientific and technical merit, engagement of patients and other stakeholders, methodological rigor, and fit within our research priorities and research agenda.

Additional details on future funding cycles are provided in the PCORI website’s Funding Opportunities section. All awards were approved by PCORI’s Board pending a business and programmatic review by PCORI staff and completion of a formal award contract.
