Project Summary
The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery Association (ASDSA) seeks to better understand what outcomes patients really want from their skin cancer treatment. In partnership with the Partnership to Improve Patient Care (PIPC), the skin cancer community, and the American Cancer Society (skin cancer patient advocacy groups), the project team is seeking funding for a one-day meeting to convene physicians, patients, the cancer support community, and researchers in meaningful dialogue to better understand how skin cancer patients view their diagnosis, treatment options, and preferred outcomes.
Key project collaborators: ASDSA staff and member physicians/office staff, along with some help from patient groups mentioned above in recruiting a few of the patients.
