Project Summary

In 2015, Genetic Alliance joined Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Institute and Duke Clinical Research Institute as part of the PCORnet Coordinating Center. Genetic Alliance offers resources to coordinate the individual Patient Powered Research Networks (PPRNs), and to facilitate the coordination and collaboration across all PCORnet member networks.

To meet the growing needs of PCORnet, Genetic Alliance develops tools on an ongoing basis. This has included enabling digital sharing and archiving of information, enabling a comparison of data of interest to the networks, and strengthening collaborations among PCORnet member networks. Genetic Alliance shapes and serves PCORnet within three main areas: Network science, Engagement, and the PCORnet Commons.
