Our Research Priorities: Our National Priorities for Research and Research Agenda serves as a framework to guide our funding of comparative clinical effectiveness research that will give patients and those who care for them the ability to make better-informed health decisions.
Our Strategic Plan: We seek to fund useful research likely to change practice and improve patient outcomes. We focus on sharing those results with the public. And we work to influence research funded by others to become more useful to patients and other healthcare decision makers.
Our Research Funding: PCORI has funded $2.8 billion in research and related projects, including those that support the methods and capacity for conducting that research. We also provide funding to help more patients and other stakeholders become involved in the research process.
