PCORI has a strong interest in funding relevant research likely to improve clinical practice. Therefore, we want to hear from health care stakeholders about PCORI’s progress against the goals and we want to learn about how PCORI can ensure that it funds CER useful to healthcare stakeholders. We have collected information from large national samples of patients, caregivers, clinicians, and researchers to help us in this way. We also speak with different stakeholders through convenings and through focus groups to understand their views on CER, on engagement in research, and on the ways to ensure PCORI funded studies are useful.
