Procurement Opportunities
PCORI periodically makes a variety of external funding opportunities available throughout the course of its work, including Requests for Proposals (RFPs) or Requests for Information (RFI), which are awarded through a competitive process. Each RFP or RFI contains its own statement of work, requirements, and evaluation criteria.
Impact of Doula Support During Pregnancy, Childbirth, and Beyond: A Health Equity Systematic Review
Task Order Request for Proposal (TORFP) for Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Research Synthesis and New Technology
The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) seeks to understand the evidence on the impact of doula support during pregnancy, childbirth and in the postpartum period among pregnant, birthing, or postpartum individuals. This will inform our future research investments and objectives, and support PCORI’s priority research topic of Maternal Morbidity and Mortality. In addition to PCORI’s programmatic needs, PCORI aims to support decisions of healthcare professionals, policy makers, and healthcare organizations with timely and high-quality evidence about preventing maternal morbidity and mortality. A Contractor would need to complete a systematic review with the objective of assessing the impact of doula support on birthing persons and infant outcomes compared to usual care. View the TORFP for more details.
