Peer Review Management Services
The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) sought a Contractor to provide peer review management services for draft final research reports (DFRRs) from our funded studies. PCORI’s authorizing law mandates that PCORI implement a process for peer reviewing PCORI-funded primary research and making research findings publicly available in a form and format useful to patients, clinicians, and others. The peer review process implemented by PCORI requires the Contractor to manage peer review of the DFRRs, including hiring and managing expert associate editors (AEs) and establishing a diverse pool of peer reviewers.
