Thank you for the opportunity to comment on the Methodology Standards for Usual Care. I think the guidance has attempted to find a balance between clearly describing and justifying the usual care group and the fidelity to the usual care group. The work is consistent with prior published work by groups such as the European Network for Health Technology Assessment. My only suggestion would be to provide potential reference articles and/or other resources to help investigators planning for a usual care group to have a template for meeting the methodology guidances.
