Session Summary
This session discussed three completed PCORI-funded projects that evaluated tools for patient engagement. The studies examined how use of the tools affected both patient perceptions and patient use of healthcare services. These results can help predict future healthcare needs, improve the efficiency of care, and address barriers to access and quality of health services.
