Session Summary
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, progressive disease of the central nervous system that tends to strike people (mostly women) in their 20s and 30s and may lead to progressive disability. Today, there are some 14 disease-modifying therapies to treat MS. This session described how PCORI engaged stakeholders to identify important research gaps, developed specific research topics, and is building a portfolio of impactful research on treatment of MS.
