This session provided an overview of PCORI’s efforts to address the opioid epidemic. Attendees learned about the role of patient-centered research in answering critical questions that cover the full paradigm of issues surrounding the crisis—from prevention to risk mitigation and treatment for opioid use disorder—and engaged with investigators and stakeholders.
