A hallmark and innovation of PCORI funding has been the engagement of the public and patients in clinical research. Featuring PCORI-funded research teams, Engagement Award teams, and stakeholder partners, this session briefed attendees on what PCORI is learning from its awardees about how engagement works in practice, and it provided a review of what PCORI is learning from published PCORI projects in the literature.
