Part one of the three-part Peer-Review Workshop series addressed the following questions for people interested in the peer-review process: Why does PCORI engage in peer review and what does that process entail? What makes PCORI’s peer review different? What are the lessons learned since launch in 2016? By addressing these broader questions through presentations and participant-driven dialogue, this session aimed to engage attendees who are seeking general information, those who have been awarded PCORI research funding and are preparing for this stage of the research process, and those seeking to employ this process in their own work.
