Board of Governors Meeting: June 19, 2018

At its June 19, 2018 meeting, the Board approved $8.4 million to fund four new projects and conducted a FY2018 mid-year financial review, among other business.

The new projects will focus on the implementation of effective shared decision making (SDM) approaches in practice settings.

• Two of the projects, in Alabama and Colorado, will implement SDM strategies formally tested and demonstrated to be effective in studies we funded.
• The other two, in California and New Hampshire, will incorporate new evidence from studies we funded into existing and tested SDM strategies and then implement the updated strategies.

All PCORI Board meetings are open to the public. This meeting was held via teleconference/webinar with no public comment period.
