Veterans, members of the armed services, and their families are a population of interest for PCORI. By serving a complementary role to that of the Department of Veterans Affairs, PCORI-funded projects help to ensure that new clinical research meets the needs of those who have served. In this breakout session at the 2019 PCORI Annual Meeting, attendees will hear about PCORI-funded projects that focus on engaging veterans and their families in research. The session also highlights the results of completed projects that examined the comparative effectiveness of clinical care provided to veterans.
