2021 PCORI Virtual Annual Meeting Plenary Session

Innovations arrive with a mixture of hope and uncertainty, and healthcare innovations are no exception. New health practices, policies, systems, delivery methods, and technologies can disrupt care in both positive and negative ways. New approaches can transform how care is delivered or provide more effective management of diseases. Yet, these same innovations may yield unintended consequences or deepen disparities by increasing barriers to care. In this session, speakers will offer diverse perspectives on the impact of innovations and their effect on patient outcomes.
