During its April 13, 2021 meeting, the Board approved more than a dozen topics that will be considered and refined for the development of future research funding opportunities. The topics range from healthy aging and prevention of drug addiction among adolescents to telehealth and addressing bias, racism and discrimination throughout the health care continuum. These topics will be considered for PCORI Funding Announcements that will be released beginning in Fall 2021 and into 2022. View the news release for more details about the candidate topics.
The Board also received updates related to a March 2021 meeting that launched the development of PCORI's new Strategic Plan, along with a report on emerging themes for PCORI's National Priorities for Health, among other business.
