Priorities on the Health Horizon: Informing PCORI’s Strategic Plan

The Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and its Board of Governors are embarking on the development of a new strategic plan that will guide PCORI moving forward.

Ensuring that this new plan is responsive to the health and healthcare research priorities will require meaningful input from patients and other stakeholders, as well as a shift from national priorities for research to national priorities for health that emphasize goals that will drive impact.

To inform this body of work, the National Academy of Medicine held a series of virtual meetings to gather reflections and input from patients, stakeholders, and the broader healthcare community.
