2022 PCORI Annual Meeting Plenary

This plenary session examines the inequitable toll of the COVID-19 pandemic and the efforts made to respond to those inequities, focusing on the evidence base and evidence needs for interventions—mitigation, vaccination, and treatment, among others. The discussion will include leaders of organizations that implemented and advocated for COVID-19 interventions and their experiences working with communities and stakeholders to embrace these interventions in the face of an evolving understanding of and misinformation about COVID-19. The session will also address what interventions or programs were successful in closing health equity gaps and how to translate them moving forward.
