Confronting COVID-19: Finding Hospital Capacity and Improving Patient Flow
A Webinar Series Hosted by PCORI for Hospitals and Health Systems
COVID-19 has led to acute disruptions in the US healthcare system. Faced with an imminent or actual surge of COVID-19 patients, hospitals and health systems are facing enormous challenges with capacity and patient flow. As part of our ongoing commitment to address this public health emergency, PCORI hosted a weekly free, six-part webinar series between March 31 and May 5, 2020, for hospitals and health systems confronting COVID-19. During this webinar series, health system leaders, clinicians, and operations management experts discussed how they are dealing with these challenges and shared their learnings with the wider hospital community.
