PCORI's Online System opened on September 6, 2023, for the submission of Letters of Intent (LOI) for the Sleep Health Topical PCORI Funding Announcement (PFA) under Cycle 3 2023.
PCORI is particularly interested in applications focusing on sleep in high-need and/or underserved populations. Applications may also propose studies of screening, diagnostic and treatment approaches for sleep disorders; interventions promoting sleep health; or system-level strategies delivered in hospital, clinic or community settings to improve patient-centered sleep outcomes.
PCORI is particularly interested in submissions that address the following Special Areas of Emphasis (SAEs):
- Promoting Sleep Health Equity
- Chronic Conditions Co-occurring with Sleep Disturbances
- Focus on Sleep Health Beyond Diagnosed Sleep Disorders
The purpose of identifying these SAEs is to encourage submissions to these areas, not to limit submissions to these topics. Applicants addressing a SAE should identify the area that is best associated with their research approach.
Learn more about this funding opportunity and register to attend a virtual applicant town hall on September 20.
