PCORI's Online System is now open for the submission of Letters of Intent (LOIs) and applications for three new Targeted PCORI Funding Announcements (PFAs).


PCORI 2022 and Beyond: Opportunities for Funding and Involvement in Patient-Centered Research: February 2, 2022, 1-1:30pm ET

Letters of Intent for these PFAs are due February 8, by 5pm ET, and applications are due May 3, by 5pm ET.

Prevention, Early Identification, and Treatment of Delirium in Older Adults

This PFA will provide up to $30 million for research assessing interventions to prevent, detect early or treat delirium in older adults.

Brief Interventions for Adolescent Alcohol Use

This PFA will offer up to $30 million to fund studies comparing the effectiveness of ways to prevent or treat alcohol use among youth ages 12 through 17.

Comparative Effectiveness of Interventions Targeting Mental Health in Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

This PFA will offer up to $40 million to fund studies that focus on the comparative clinical effectiveness of evidence-based or commonly used approaches (e.g., specific pharmacologic and behavioral interventions) that address mental health in individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
