The reports are the result of two separate workgroups – IDD and MMM – which were convened by PCORnet® Network Partners to identify critical gaps and needs in current knowledge for each of their respective condition areas, as well as prioritize unanswered patient-centered CER questions which may be addressed by using PCORnet. The workgroups also developed recommendations for infrastructure enhancements and preparatory activities necessary for future patient-centered CER on IDD and MMM by which the PCORnet infrastructure may be leveraged.

The PCORnet data queries for IDD and MMM that informed the reports are publicly available through the PCORnet website. The queries characterize patients at sites participating in PCORnet who would be eligible to participate in PCORnet® Studies and other research related to IDD and MMM.
