Confronting COVID-19: Finding Hospital Capacity and Improving Patient Flow
A Webinar Series Hosted by PCORI for Hospitals and Health Systems
COVID-19 has led to acute disruptions in the US healthcare system. Faced with an imminent or actual surge of COVID-19 patients, hospitals and health systems are facing enormous challenges with capacity and patient flow. As part of our ongoing commitment to address this public health emergency, PCORI hosted a weekly free, six-part webinar series between March 31 and May 5, 2020, for hospitals and health systems confronting COVID-19. During this webinar series, health system leaders, clinicians, and operations management experts discussed how they are dealing with these challenges and shared their learnings with the wider hospital community. Watch recordings or read summaries of the sessions below.
