Assistant Clinical Professor - Audiology, Arizona Board of Regents, University of Arizona

Representing: Clinicians
Term Ends July 2025

Aileen Wong, AuD, CCC-A is trained as a doctor of audiology and has experience with the evaluation and treatment of hearing loss. Her goal is to help her patients maximize communication and quality of life through better hearing. As an audiologist, she has identified many gaps in the evidence base that create barriers to optimizing patient-centered care, especially for individuals experiencing hearing healthcare disparities.

Dr. Wong has been part of a PCORI Engagement Award that is collaborating with community partners to build research capacity for hearing healthcare access/interventions for the Hispanic/Latinx population. As a professional of color, she recognizes the unique assets she brings from her cultural experiences and identities along with the opportunity for mentoring future leaders in order to diversify the healthcare and health research workforce.

Dr. Wong also serves as a PCORI Ambassador and recognizes the need for diverse voices to guide research priorities and practices.
