Ariella Teater is a registered nurse working as a clinical outcomes manager for an academic physician group in the urban center of St. Louis, Missouri. She reviews and submits quality data related to the physician group’s performance to programs such as the Merit-Based Incentive Payment System for Medicare, amongst others. She is also involved in facilitating research to promote improvement in the patient-centered quality of the care provided by the physician group and in conjunction with the group’s partner hospital, Saint Louis University Hospital.

She has experience participating in research projects, gathering data, implementing interventions, and reporting research data both to providers/practitioners and to the general public, activities she undertook as an ST-elevation Myocardial Infarction Program Manager for a local hospital. She is currently enrolled in the doctoral nursing program at Saint Louis University with a focus on mental and behavioral health outcomes for foster children and foster parents.
