Bettye Green is a Community Outreach Nurse and Associate Director of Advocacy for the Alliance for Clinical Trials in Oncology at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center. She has had a long involvement with breast cancer advocacy activities, including work with the African American Breast Cancer Project, the American College of Surgeons Oncology Group, the American Association for Cancer Research, the National Action Plan on Breast Cancer, and the National Breast Cancer Coalition.

Green served as a member of the Advisory Panel on Assessment of Prevention, Diagnosis, and Treatment Options from Spring 2013 - Spring 2017.
