Bridget Gaglio, PhD, MPH
Bridget Gaglio, PhD, MPH, was a Senior Program Officer for the Clinical Effectiveness and Decision Science program at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). In this role, Gaglio facilitated research initiatives aimed at improving communication and dissemination of evidence-based information among patients and their healthcare providers.
Before joining PCORI, Gaglio was a research scientist at Kaiser Permanente Mid-Atlantic States. Her work there focused on patient-centered communication during cancer care. She also has extensive experience in qualitative data collection and analysis, and in dissemination and implementation science. She has published papers on patient-centered communication during cancer care, health literacy, evaluation, and dissemination and implementation of health interventions.
Gaglio received her BS in biological and physical sciences from the University of Houston, a MPH with a concentration in epidemiology from the University of Texas School of Public Health, and a PhD in health and behavioral sciences from the University of Colorado-Denver.
