UCLA Fielding School of Public Health, Professor of Biostatistics
Catherine M. Crespi, PhD, MS, is a Professor of Biostatistics at the Fielding School of Public Health at the University of California Los Angeles and a faculty member of the UCLA Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. She is an expert in statistical methods for the design and analysis of randomized controlled trials as well as quasi-experimental studies and pragmatic trials and has particular expertise in cluster randomized trials. She also has expertise in longitudinal data, missing data, causal inference, and Bayesian methods. She has served as statistical editor of the Journal of the National Cancer Institute and is past President of the International Biometric Society (Western North American Region). Her collaborative research focus includes cancer prevention and control, cancer survivorship, obesity control, mental health, behavioral medicine, and health psychology.
