Cheryl Holly, EdD, RN, ANEF, FNAP, is Professor and Director of the Institute for Evidence Synthesis and Translation (NEST) at Rutgers University (Newark, New Jersey) with a joint appointment in the Schools of Nursing and Public Health (Epidemiology). She is an innovative leader as well as an educator, researcher, and nurse. Her research program focuses on contextually relevant synthesis and implementation of evidence in population health and health disparities. Dr. Holly holds an EdD from Columbia University, Teachers College and a BS in nursing from Pace University. She is a Fellow and Distinguished Scholar of the National Academies of Practice and a Fellow of the Academy of Nursing Education.

Holly previously served as a member of the Advisory Panel on Addressing Disparities and a member of the Advisory Panel on Healthcare Delivery and Disparities Research from August 2017 to August 2020.
