Christine P. Woodward is the Associate Director, Program Operations, and Administration, for the Office of the Chief Program Support Officer at the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI). In this role, Woodward works closely with the chief to provide leadership and oversight functions to the department by managing daily operations, policies and procedures, organizational excellence efforts, human resources and staff development, operational budget, and purchasing, as well as managing administrative staff. She previously served as Manager, Science Administration, for the Office of the Chief Science Officer.

Before joining PCORI, Woodward was the associate director, administrative services at the International Partnership for Microbicides (IPM), a global health nonprofit focused on HIV prevention products for women in the developing world. At IPM, Woodward planned, implemented, and managed various operational areas and systems including space planning and allocation, real estate management, facilities maintenance, travel, and corporate insurance management. Prior to IPM, Woodward was a member of the HIV, TB & Reproductive Health team at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation in Seattle, Washington.

Woodward holds a BS in business management from Mount St. Mary’s University, Emmitsburg, Maryland, and served in the US Air Force as an Environmental Health Specialist assigned to the 842nd Strategic Hospital in Grand Forks, North Dakota.
