Daniel Halpern-Ruder has 53 years of research, clinical practice, and healthcare administration experience. He is an MD and a PhD. Retiring from the reactive field of emergency/urgent care medicine two years ago, he vowed to work on proactive opportunities and became interested in the opportunities within the digital health ecosystem. He is also taken with the literature that demonstrates that participatory patients have better outcomes at less cost. Daniel serves as the Chief Medical Officer for Humaginarium, a digital health startup focused on the educational opportunities in digital health, particularly as they apply to the process of educating patients on the road to participatory action.
