Danielle Leach is a nonprofit professional who has consistently worked to increase patient engagement in a variety of patient advocacy activities from the moment of diagnosis through policy change. Her recent PCORI Engagement Award is on capacity building to bring a quality of life institute to the National Brain Tumor Society with strong input and creation of a stakeholder advisory group. Danielle feels it is critical to optimize her PCORI experience by becoming more deeply involved in the Ambassador Program. Her professional experience of over 25 years with patient advocacy activities, her Master of Public Administration degree, and serving in leadership roles in patient engagement activities at NCI will be assets as she serves as an ambassador.
