Dawn Rosini has worked with research teams at UF Health at Shands and NYU Langone Health, which she has found rewarding as it has given her the ability to give back to the world in a concrete way that can affect thousands of people. She is interested in the ways in which patients are working together with medical professionals, and the momentum PCORI’s support gives to this end. Rosini has some college experience but considers most of her training that which was gained “in the trenches” from her experience as a caregiver and a patient. In her career, she has worked her way up in two areas to become a regional level operations manager, and she loves to work with different people. As an older adult and a baby boomer, Rosini is part of one of the largest patient populations the healthcare system has ever seen, and ensuring her peers’ voices are part of the solutions is what motivates her.
