Dominique Stevens-Young, MSW, has a master’s degree in social work as well as a clinical license in social work. Several years ago, she attended a medical conference and saw a presentation about PCORI’s Ambassador program. She immediately knew this organizational mission spoke to her heart and embodied her passion for patient-centered care. Thus, she began disseminating information about PCORI and its Ambassador program throughout her community and workplace to encourage support for its mission. Since becoming an Ambassador, she has completed several abstract reviews, participated in a PCORI-funded working group, and attended several annual conferences.
