Emma Halper is currently working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Division of Reproductive Health on reviewing published literature about ways to integrate patients and stakeholders into clinical guideline development. Specifically, she is looking at what interventions exist and making recommendations for ways that CDC can integrate patient-centered outcomes research (PCOR) into the guidelines for contraceptive safety. She is interested in contributing to client- and patient-centered research and making informed decisions at the federal level.
